Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“A woman may not fast a day – other than in the month of Ramadan – while her husband is present, except with his permission.”

Abu Ayub narrated that: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever fasts Ramadan, then follows it with six from Shawwal, then that is (equal in reward) to fasting every day.”

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said,
“When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.”

Salim reported on the authority of his father that a person saw Lailat-ul- Qadr on the 27th (of Ramadan). Thereupon Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) said: I see that your dreams agree regarding the last ten (nights of Ramadan). So seek it on an odd number (of these ten nights)...
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
No sadaqah is due on a horse or a slave except that given at the breaking of the fast (at the end of Ramadan).
