It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw an old man walking between his two sons, and he said: What is the matter with him?’ His sons said: ‘A vow, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Let this old man ride, for Allah has no need of you or your vow.”‘
