Question:
If someone wishes for Allah to bless someone else in their mind as they go about their day, does Allah listen to this and does He give blessings/rewards to both the person who asked for the blessing and the person on whom the blessing was intended for?
Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Thank you for your question.
Allāh listens to supplications and responds.
“Your Lord has said, “Call Me, I will respond to you.”” (Quran: 40:60).
The one who supplicates or prays for another also receives rewards and blessings for their act of kindness.
“They feel pleased with blessing from Allāh, and grace, and with the fact that Allah would not let the reward of the believers be lost.” (Quran: 3:171)
And Allah knows best.
